Radia sufi Concert

Presentation of the first work of Radia. Radia Voice, bless and erbane Kaveh Sarvarian Ney and tombak, flute and Piano Carmen Tome Violin Alexánder Pewló Saz, yayli tambur, santur and lavta Devotional music, Sufi inspired, with a hypnotic, circular, trance and subtle air, loaded with vocal games (melismas) from so many places … to reach a single place … Music is truly a prodigious vehicle of beauty and inspiration, capable of captivating the senses and raising souls. The poems of Yunus Emre, AbdulRahman Onul and Imán Gazuli, are well known all over the world, I wanted to translate them into Spanish and English to make them understandable by the greatest number of people, along with three own themes, Al-Andalus Salawat, Aman Ya Rabbi and Saeta Muladí; Especially thanks to Emmanuelle Giunti and Lorenzo Yunus Salvatori for their arrangements and contributions in Al-Andalus Salawat, the inspiration of my Master’s heart in Aman Ya Rabbi and the mastery and versatility of Kaveh Sarvarian to Ney Persa, played in a very novel way, Opening new fields in the interpretation of such a wonderful instrument, I also thank my mother for her inspiration in Saeta Muladí. This Saeta I learned from her since I was very little girl, I have been singing it for more than 25 years, this time I changed the lyrics to adapt it to the album and show one of the devotional cantes with more roots of flamenco and the Spanish people.

CONCERT OF PERSIAN MUSIC IN THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC IN GRANADA
Saturday 5 June
Huerta de San Vicente (García Lorca Park), 10 pm
Kaveh Sarvarian ney, tombak, Vocalist
Pedram Khosravidaf, tombak, tanbur
Persian music consists of different musical styles, such as traditional music (national form), folk music (which includes the different types of instruments, modes and accents of each region) and fusion music (contemporary and international ideas of classical music , Jazz or other types, always according to the Persian mode of expression).
From the hand of these two Iranian musicians we embark on a journey in time. In the first part we will enjoy some themes from the repertoire of Sufi music, from the creation of an atmosphere of peace and joy. In the second one is interpreted traditional Persian music, whose enormous wealth is due to its millenary life.
With the collaboration of the Huerta de San Vicente

‘Leaving Traces’ tells the historical and personal journey of a Sephardic Jewish woman through flamenco dancing.
Inspired by the history of her Jewish and Iranian ancestors and her experience with flamenco art, the bailaora Leilah Broukhim has created ‘Dejando Huellas’: an intimate and original expression of her roots, her personal journey and the history of her people.
The result is an exciting and unforgettable work of music, dance and art that remembers that the traces left in the past define our present and our future.

THE TRIO “OFOGH” IN CONCERT IN THE ROOM THE EPISCOPE Persian music in fusion with Spanish guitar Ofogh, in the Persian language, is the place where heaven and earth meet each other: horizons that we travel with this trio composed by Kaveh Sarvarian ( Ney, tombak and voice), Pedram Khosravi (daf, tombak and tambur), and Jesús Gutiérrez (guitar). Two musicians inheriting the rich Persian culture, and a third that brings a personal vision from the Spanish guitar, echoing those horizons that can be observed in different parts of the world. The perspectives of each viewer will bring together cultures and subtleties through this journey and their own vision of the dream horizon. Lines of encounter that always melt in the distance … Where they connect the sky and the earth. Sala Episcopio, Plaza de la Catedral 3, Ávila. Saturday, May 17, at 8:00 p.m.
