Kaveh Sarvarian ney, tombak, Vocalist

Persian music consists of different musical styles, such as traditional music (national form), folk music (which includes the different types of instruments, modes and accents of each region) and fusion music (contemporary and international ideas of classical music , Jazz or other types, always according to the Persian mode of expression).
From the hand of these two Iranian musicians we embark on a journey in time. In the first part we will enjoy some themes from the repertoire of Sufi music, from the creation of an atmosphere of peace and joy. In the second one is interpreted traditional Persian music, whose enormous wealth is due to its millenary life.
With the collaboration of the Huerta de San Vicente

‘Leaving Traces’ tells the historical and personal journey of a Sephardic Jewish woman through flamenco dancing.

The result is an exciting and unforgettable work of music, dance and art that remembers that the traces left in the past define our present and our future.

A space to enrich us from the food of the soul … art, in all its forms … expressing beauty, harmony and love. In this concert, music and dance are born from the mystical inspiration of poetry, in unity, fullness and joy. A reunion of the arts that enlivened the palace evenings in ancient Persia, where mysticism filled with inspiration to musicians, poets and artists. “Nasime Saba” brings us to the source of inspiration, the breeze of fresh air and warm sustenance that springs up in our hearts.

THE TRIO “OFOGH” IN CONCERT IN THE ROOM THE EPISCOPE Persian music in fusion with Spanish guitar Ofogh, in the Persian language, is the place where heaven and earth meet each other: horizons that we travel with this trio composed by Kaveh Sarvarian ( Ney, tombak and voice), Pedram Khosravi (daf, tombak and tambur), and Jesús Gutiérrez (guitar). Two musicians inheriting the rich Persian culture, and a third that brings a personal vision from the Spanish guitar, echoing those horizons that can be observed in different parts of the world. The perspectives of each viewer will bring together cultures and subtleties through this journey and their own vision of the dream horizon. Lines of encounter that always melt in the distance … Where they connect the sky and the earth. Sala Episcopio, Plaza de la Catedral 3, Ávila. Saturday, May 17, at 8:00 p.m.
